A dreadful encounter is not that of a temporary event but that of a permanent impact on one’s life. In surviving Cancer, it is never an undertaking to underestimate. When people have such condition, they would start to think of the many bad things that could happen to them. So many thoughts rummage through their minds that could eventually influence the course of their illness. Those who survived such an unmerciful condition usually have one thing in common- they never gave up.

This song throws darts on my heart as it praises Him who gave me this life of hope. Through Him, I was able to battle this fearsome foe. This encounter I’ve been through proved that I was never alone. From my family, friends, and loved ones, I was able to gain the courage and strength. But from the Lord, I earned the will to fight and the hope to live on.
With so much going on, the goal was to get through all the pain and complete all medicine and hope for the best to come. Prayer, on the other hand, also worked.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” - Philippians 4:13
Surviving Cancer is a tough journey. Going through all the therapies, all the heartaches, and all the trials during medical test results. This endeavour would surely slowly consume you as your days become numbered and you feel your body being eaten up by terrifying feelings. But you must know that the Lord, like He did with me, is always there and ready to help you. Believe He is there and you will know how gracious and loving our God is.
